About La Tomatina 2012

La Tomatina is the world's largest tomato fight, held every year on the last Wednesday of August in the sun-baked streets of Bunol, a small town near Valencia, Spain. Since 1945, tens of thousands of participants have descended on Plaza del Pueblo to hurl more than 100,000 kilograms of overripe tomatoes at one another in a one-hour frenzy of pure, gleeful chaos.
