Apple's biggest iPhone shake-up in years. Apple has officially confirmed its September keynote for September 9, 2026, where the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max (A20 Pro chip) and the first-ever foldable iPhone (reportedly "iPhone Ultra", 7.8-inch inner display) are expected to be unveiled. Pre-orders are expected to open September 11-12, with retail availability from September 18 — the standard iPhone 18 and budget iPhone 18e are not part of this wave and aren't expected until spring 2027.
